Khalifa Foundation honours 293 individuals for providing educational support services

ABU DHABI, 8th May, 2017 (WAM) — The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has honoured 293 coordinators and supervisors who played an important role in ensuring the success of educational support services for school and university students under the remit of the Abu Dhabi Education Council, the Higher Colleges of Technology and Zayed University in Abu Dhabi.

During a ceremony held at the Mubarak bin Mohamed School in Abu Dhabi on Monday, Mohamed Haji Al Khouri, Director-General of the Khalifa Foundation, praised the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and support His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to aid students throughout their educational development.

He also expressed his appreciation of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, for his full support of the foundation’s initiatives, especially related to the provision of health meals to school students. Al Khouri highlighted that this is the tenth year in which the Foundation has supported 30,000 students in public schools and universities in the UAE.
