Master Sommelier Diploma Exam

The Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS) conducts the Master Sommelier Diploma Exam to encourage improved standards of beverage service by sommeliers, particularly in wine and food pairing. There are 3 components that are put to test, i.e. theory, service, and blind tasting. Even an expert would take at least 3 attempts to clear this wine tasting exam. In the last step, applicants are expected to know the exact year, date, and region where the wine was made. This makes it the most challenging wine examination in the world.

GATE- Gratitude Aptitude Test in Engineering

GATE is an Indian examination that acts as an entrance test for Indian students pursuing engineering. The test is a joint venture between The Indian Institute of Science and the 7 IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) across the country. There is one single paper, which consists of both MCQs and numerical questions.

Gaokao

The Gaokao examination is a compulsory exam to be taken by every high school student in China in order to pursue higher education. Ranked as the 8th most difficult exam to crack globally, it has been the reason for stress and anxiety for many Chinese teenagers.

GRE- Graduate Record Examinations

GRE is one of the most widely taken tests globally and also one of the most difficult to crack. Most US Universities providing higher education require all of their applicants to have a specified GRE Score. It is available online as well as offline modes.
All Souls Prize Fellowship Exam
This fellowship exam is conducted by Oxford University’s All Souls College and is considered to be the second most challenging exam in the world. It involves factual knowledge and a highly imaginative mind as its prerequisites. Only two candidates are selected for fellowship every year.

LNAT (National Admission Test for Law)

This test in the UK is an aptitude test for main law universities. Each applicant is given two hours and a quarter to complete an essay and 42 MCQs to test reading and logical reasoning skills. The reading part contains a passage from which one has to answer ten sets of papers and for the essay part a student is given 40 minutes and the topic is generally a student-related topic.

Mensa

Amongst the world’s oldest societies, Mensa is a high intelligence IQ society whose members have a higher IQ than the 98th percentile, i.e. amongst the top 2% of the world. Mensa has a renowned presence in almost every country across the globe. The IQ test administered by society is an extremely demanding test that analyses one’s intelligence on parameters of reasoning, problem-solving, and logic.
