BIOMEDICAL AND BIOTECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING

Biomedical Engineering is a subset of CHEMICAL ENGINEERING. Biomedical Engineers research, develop and design medical products and apply the ideas of material technology and engineering to healthcare. They implement and design new technologies like tissue engineering and computer facilitated operations. They work closely with life science experts, physicians, chemists and surgeons to develop engineering aspects of biological systems.
